Auto Tech Explained SMS Program

Program Description

The Auto Tech Explained SMS Program has two separate preferences. Account notifications cover your own subscription, such as guide delivery, content access updates, opt-in confirmations, opt-out confirmations, and replies to HELP requests. Marketing covers recurring car tech tips, product news, and updates about dash cameras, USB chargers, phone mounts, power adapters, GPS devices, and battery packs. The program does not send quotes, offers from other companies, sales calls, or third-party marketing.

Message Categories

• Account Notifications. Message frequency varies based on account activity.
• Marketing. Message frequency varies, generally up to 4 messages per month.

Each category has its own separate consent checkbox and can be selected independently.

How to Opt In

Visit our subscribe page, enter your mobile number, and check the box for each category you want. Boxes are never checked in advance, and a phone number by itself is not consent. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase, access, or use of this website.

Message Frequency

Account notification messages are sent as needed based on account activity. Marketing messages are generally sent up to 4 messages per month. Frequency may vary within these limits.

How to Stop Messages

Reply STOP to any message to cancel that program. You will receive a single confirmation that messages have ended, and we will not send further messages for that program unless you opt in again.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, live in the United States, and be the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you submit. Delivery is subject to carrier availability and is not guaranteed.

Mobile Opt-In Data

Mobile opt-in data, SMS consent, and phone numbers collected for SMS purposes will not be sold, shared, rented, released, or transferred to third parties for marketing, lead generation, or promotional purposes.
